ERIE YACHT CLUB - PHASE ONE

After nearly two decades without renovation, the Erie Yacht Club faced the challenge of outdated facilities amidst a growing membership. Recognizing the need for a transformative update, JW Architecture was engaged to develop a new floor plan that honors the club’s rich history while catering to the needs of a contemporary, thriving community.

 

Phase One of the renovation focused on expanding the commercial kitchen, introducing new walk-in freezers and a dedicated truck dock. The main lobby was revitalized by raising the roof, creating a spacious clerestory that floods the area with natural light. Additionally, the Ballroom, Bliss Room, offices, and gift shop were redesigned with an emphasis on both form and function. To enhance member experience, a new shower suite was included, providing a refreshing amenity after a day on the water.
